What the launch research contains
We read official provider pricing and product documentation, record the check date and link to the sources. We identify relevant features, plan limits and unanswered questions for a small US service business. We have not conducted hands-on product trials or measured business outcomes for these launch profiles.
How we make comparisons
We compare the same number of logins and separate monthly pricing from annual prepaid equivalents. We omit temporary promotions from calculations. The cheapest plan that meets a headcount is not automatically the best plan: a specific feature can require an upgrade. Our finder explains its ordering rather than presenting an invented accuracy percentage.
How we handle uncertainty
When current pricing is quote-only, we show “quote required”, never zero. When official pages conflict, we flag the discrepancy and prioritise the main pricing page for numerical estimates. Housecall Pro’s figures are published reference prices and need a trade-specific confirmation. QuoteIQ’s main pricing page differs from some help and affiliate content.
What we do not claim
We do not claim that a provider will save a certain number of hours, increase revenue or suit every trade. We do not invent customer endorsements, reviewer credentials, star ratings or hands-on experience. Editorial interpretations are starting points for your own evaluation.
Updates and corrections
Product pages carry the date the sources were checked. Calculators display a reminder when the underlying check is over 45 days old. That reminder is not an automatic recheck. New pricing needs a fresh source review and a dataset update.
Published information checked 2026-10-22. This is documentation-based research, not a hands-on product test. Features, pricing and contract terms can change.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate payments do not enter the calculator or finder ordering. A product can appear without a commercial relationship. Read the funding disclosure.
