Jobber
vs Workiz

Published plan prices versus a tailored quote

Fieldwork Atlas editorial researchChecked October 22, 2026US market · USD

Jobber gives a public price structure across team sizes. Workiz’s current plans require a quote. An old Workiz starting price is not a sound basis for calling one product cheaper.

The decision that matters

If call handling is central to your operation, ask Workiz to demonstrate the call-to-job handoff and quote the separate phone product. Ask Jobber to demonstrate the same scenario with its relevant services. Compare the complete configuration, not only the base software.

Jobber

Shortlist Jobber when a published team-size price and a documented path from basic scheduling to more advanced workflows matter. Core can be economical for a solo user, but accounting sync or job costing changes the plan comparison.

Workiz

Include Workiz in a demonstration shortlist if call handling and dispatch are important buying criteria. The lack of public dollar pricing means it cannot be declared cheaper than another product without a comparable written quote.

Compare like-for-like costs

Enter everyone who needs access in the cost calculator. Then select the feature tier you are evaluating. The tool’s lowest-cost match only covers a headcount and a broad plan level; it does not establish identical functionality.

Use one demonstration script

Create a customer, schedule a visit, assign the work, issue a quote, record the completed job and send an invoice. Then change something: reschedule the visit, correct the address or record a partial payment. Note the required tier, any extra charges and the steps staff need to learn.

Before choosing, ask for the regular renewal price and an export of the sample records. If either product cannot demonstrate a must-have workflow, treat that as a real limitation even if its subscription is cheaper.
